It is shame, that P3Dv5.3 can't simulate progress of the Moon shadow at the Earth surface.

I was a 22 year-old on the MS Monte Umbe off the coast of Mauritania. Six minutes of totality. Well done on replicating the eclipse.

Wonderful! Would you care to share where you did that shot?

I tried to find the eclipse in Niger, but failed miserably (P3Dv6).

Thanks, Ray. Because of that wiki entry I looked for it in Niger - not a place I normally visit frequently ;-)
