Thrustmaster tca sidestic not picking up X & Y axis

That looks like P3D is seeing your devices ok.

Just to verify, TM Throttles = ok but Joystick = Bad, correct?

so i currently have my setting on directInput, shall i change to Raw as it says it needs to remapped as i dont think FSUIPC picked anything up but P3D IS but not letting me move my joystick axis

Discord is a social platform where you can chat In real time and share screens etc but no worries if you dont have it.

What were you using for Joystick before TM?

well this is slight embarrassing as i was using a xbox controller due the small size of where/how until now and everything on that works fine even when i plugged it back in

what i dont get is seems top pick it up in controls but when i try to use them it doesn't work at all

Unplug TM Joystick USB
Shut down PC and wait a minute
Power up PC
Plug TM Joystick back in
Did you hear a tone ... WIN 10 sees your Joystick being installed?
Start P3D .... the default flight (F35A ) should load at the default airport.
Outside view
Move the joystick .. ailerons / elevator .... do they respond visually?

i will try that again now but i have done this multiple times already hearing the tone to say the usb has picked it up but it just doesn't respond to movement and i probably like you know am completely baffled. ;-)

i have movement with the rudder at same time as steering whe3n i twist it (another prob i have but not too important at the moment) but i have no response to the Aileron, Horizontal Stabiliser or Elevator parts when i move the actual stick

Ok, that is actually good news.

Have you made assignments for rudder, tiller , ailerons or elevator in P3D Axis Assignments?

I know previously you mentioned Buttons on Joystick were working.
I assume they still are?

Did you assign the buttons to functions e.g. brakes , flaps etc on the Joystick or were they automatically assigned as part of the TM (Target) software install?

it has mainly auto assigned the flaps, brakes throttle etc on the quadrant (the throttle and brake trigger fully function on sidestick but will use throttle on quad) and p3d has auto assigned the axis for me in these pics

All initial testing should be done with the default P3D aircraft.

Joystick "slider" = throttle, correct? working properly?

yes can confirm that those settings are working all correctly just not working when i move the sidestick left and right to take off or turn left or right
