Hello all,
I just downloaded the actual P3d V5 and did a fresh install on a new computer.
I did not install addons nor was there a previous installation of any P3d.
The first problem already occured in the starting menu:
When I hit "options" to open the options, the simulation loaded and I found myself in the cockpit
but with the starting menu still being visible.
The situation could only be solved by closing both windows via the task bar.
I opened P3d again and hit "ok" in the starting menu to get to the game
hoping that I can choose the options via the in game menu.
The sim loaded but besides the in game menues opening, every click on a menu point like "graphics" or any other
causes an immediate ctd without any promt or Information.
This situation is reproduceable anytime.
I did a complete reinstall but to no avail.
I can fly the F22 from the standard startup but I cannot change anything because of immediate ctd.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Razor

Turning off "Controlled Folder Access" in the Windows Threat an Protection settings solved it for me.
Thanks all,
Razor
