For anyone needing to update to Windows 2004, the windows upgrade screen may mention at the top that windows has the latest update.

However, if you look down the page you may see Windows 2004 is available as a feature update.

That is the one you want.

There is no way around this.

For improved VRAM management (and also for better DX12 performance), you need:

1. Windows 10 v. 2004, and

2. The latest graphics card drivers, no matter if AMD or nVidia.
