I am hoping that you can advise on the current situation I have with P3D v4.5 and Black Marble. Yesterday I upgraded to V4.5, I had FPS issues but finally resolved them and was very pleased with the performance. As I was having problems with the BM control panel I decided to re-install BM complete. After install, I started the sim with my usual configuration (daytime) my FPS had dropped from 35 to 17. I tried different things to restore FPS without success. I then decided to unselect the BM entries in the scenery library (by chance) as this was the only software I had changed since successful tests. I started the simulator again and the FPS was restored.
I am at a loss as to why deselecting the BM entries would effect FPS (the sim was loaded for daytime flying). I reversed the process and selected BM entries again in the scenery library and the FPS dropped to 17 again
