Dynamic Reflections - Extreme FPS impact (v4.5)

Postby skanpt » Tue Mar 24, 2020 2:52 pm

Hello guys,

I experienced a huge difference between Dynamic Reflections OFF and LOW. Are you having the same problem?

Check this post so you can see the screenshots and the difference (OFF: 400fps and LOW: 10/20 fps):

Thank you.
I tested.
No problems with my P3D install.

Are you using P3Dv4.5 with Hot Fix 2?
How many monitors in your FS setup?
What is your monitors resolution?
What are your system specs?
Why is FPS important to you in Top Down View?
Best Regards,

It's been said here that P3D doesn't like Dynamic Lighting , so i'm really hoping when version 5 is out they did some work on it . I know i read at the PMDG forums that its effecting the performance on their products also and there trying to fix it .

For dynamic lighting, and for dynamic reflections, you'll need a high-performance computer.

And that would mean a desktop, running on the sweet side of 4.5 GHz.
