Re: missing rain drops on windshield when raining
I'd like to ask the same question as above, if anybody knows. I'm currently using P3Dv4.3. However: - initially I had installed P3Dv4.0 complete. - then I updated only the client to the next versions. - recently, I wanted to give a try to the new aircrafts in the 4.3 content, so I updated the conten...

Re: 4.3 HUD issues - blanks out on landings on some aircraft
Just to report that I see the same issue with HUD disappearing totally or partially sometimes. And it didn't happen only on the ground, but also airborne. It happened with the default F-22, but also with the Tomcat by Dino. I don't remember if it happened with the Tomcat by Aerosoft though... Also,...

Re: P3Dv4.3: crash when trying to sign in to multiplayer
Some little news, additional info on what is happening: It seems that the thing will get stuck for a full minute, before jumping from 9% to 18% and then rushing to the end and finally reaching the multiplayer screen. During that waiting time, any click would cause the "application is not respon...

P3Dv4.3: crash when trying to sign in to multiplayer
Hi, My brother and I are trying to fly together with P3Dv4.3 with the native multiplayer system.. While everything works perfectly on my side, his P3D keeps crashing to desktop each time he presses the "Sign In" button in the multiplayer popup. According to him, when he presses that "...

Re: P3Dv4.0 or 4.1: crash on startup menu
Today I made a new attempt, after deleting the generated files once again, refusing the activation of any external addon, and even removing completely the Modules folder. I have just completely uninstalled Prepar3D 4.1. I'm quite pessimistic regarding the chances of solving the problem by reinstalli...

Re: P3Dv4.0 or 4.1: crash on startup menu
There was no software/addon added to the sim since the last successful flight. The last thing I installed was the latest version of the MilViz Advanced F4-J/S and the Aerosoft Tomcat, and both worked without problems as you can see in the screenshots below. I made several flights with each of them, ...

P3Dv4.0 or 4.1: crash on startup menu
Hello LM team, I'm facing an application crash on startup with my P3Dv4: once reaching the flight creation menu, it seems like the aircraft preview window cannot initialize (stays grey), and the application hangs, until Windows shows me the error popup telling the application had to be closed. A bit...

Seems like nobody has any idea about this.

Re: 64-bit introduced problems
You are absolutely right, 64bits will not prevent the OOMs. However, in similar conditions, it will definitely prevent all of the current stupid OOMs that occur just when reaching the destination airport after some hours of flight. Then yes, in a distant future when addons will be made for 64 bits (...

Re: 64-bit introduced problems
CPUs and video memory might be the issue.
With 64 bit, the addon editors will no longer have to restrict the amount of details and features of their products, and these might become more CPU-intensive than their 32 bit elders.

Re: Clouds Restore
Do you seriously think the HDEv2 clouds look worse than the default cloud textures ?
The default cloud textures are hideous. If you think the HDEv2 texture look bad, then you probably messed up something when you installed them :/

Re: Is P3D 64 bit? If not, when will it become 64 bit?
Running FS9 still, you sure missed out on alot. LM will NOT answer your question about future release. Did you really think they would tell just you? Really? Not just me, it is a public forum. Also, I don't believe I missed out. I spent a lot of money on addons for FS9 and it runs without issues. I...

Indicated airspeed differs from other planes
Hi, I'm having a strange problem with my P3Dv3.3.5 and I would like to have your opinion on it. Here is the context: - flying in multiplayer using JoinFS, with other players on P3Dv3.x or FSX. - flying in tight formation - flight and network connections are all stable. - flying conditions are the sa...
