Re: Geforce RTX 2060
hi jorgen, I was reading this post and noticed your remark regarding turbo mode on the cpu with simulation, does p3d not utilize the turbo mode on the cpu?

single channel v dual channel memory
I currently have 12 gb of ram split by 3x 4gb sticks, this obviously means it's running in single channel due to the odd number of lanes filled, I have ordered another 4gb but apart from bumping up the ram to 16gb will there be any noticeable difference using dual channel, despite conflicting oppini...

Re: ORBX Tile mixed day and night
i've had the same problem before with orbx north america openlc, try running FTX central then click on setting's at the bottom then click "force re-migration of your unified lclookup" and run it, this cleared it up for me

Re: P3Dv4 runs with pauses at 2 to 3 sec frequency

Re: New DirectX Version: Improved Scenery Loading
sorry I didn't get back to you earlier, framerates are very subjective, ie what area you're flying, what aircraft, what speed etc, I tend to fly low and fast but again it depends on all the above, I can average around 20-25fps in most area's that aren't heavily built up, this is my cfg [GRAPHICS] SC...

Re: From P3D v3 (old computer) to P3D v4 (new computer) ...
some fsx aircraft work and some don't, that's all there is to it, I have both p3d v3.5 and p3d v4.5 on the same pc without any issues, if I want to fly the planes that don't work in v4.5 then I use v3.5, I have the 2 sims on seperat drives but that's only due to disc space so if you have both sim's ...

Re: New DirectX Version: Improved Scenery Loading

Re: FSPS Booster Live?
I bought P3D booster live 2018 and it did make a difference on my machine but from it's launch it hasn't even been updated to run P3D 4.4 let alone 4.5, there was minimum hit on graphics but on my machine I got that little extra I needed

Re: ATC Menu drops frames significantly momentarily
if you lock the atc popup window you only get the frame rate drop once, after that you can open or close the popup window as many times as you want without further fps impact, hope this helps
