Seems like DX12 is only available via windows updateLightningP38 wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 5:37 pm I ran into the very same issue, came here to find a solution, and yes, it's solved by installing a "clean" version of DirectX. I didn't expect it to be that simple..

Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX
what the heck, I'll throw in my 2 cents, this topic was started with a made up problem just to use this forum as a platform to do some REX bashing, the P3D folks should mark it RESOLVED and LOCK it as it has nothing to do with any issue with P3D Agree, I think the whole ball of trash should be dele...

Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX
I’ve done all of those things. Turning off HDR doesn’t make a difference. Deleting/creating a new .cfg file doesn’t work either. Additionally, I already mentioned the lack of support in the REX forums. Thanks for the response but all of that has already been mentioned in the previous responses. As ...

Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX
First of all, joining a support forum as a prerequisite to requesting support should not be motive to make anyone angry. Second, a developer asking you to prove you are worthy of support so they don't spend money giving it when none was received should not be motive to make anyone angry. I was an ea...

Not loading full screen
P3D loads fine. I have black out desktop and autofill main view selected. My resolution is set correct etc. After a video drive update I experience the behavior of once I hit OK to load into the sim, the window shifts up and to the left, not covering the screen. It loads that way in "full-scree...

Re: ILS "beams" are visible v4.5
I did a client only update to P3D to v4.5. I am not sure when this started happening but I noticed it on the last few flights. On approach, tuned to the ILS or not, the actual ILS beams are visible. They appear as what I can only describe as a flash of light, althouth the beam is visible from the c...

Re: Corrupt Menu
Not sure how that is a "corrupt menu" You need to register your installation again. You said you "reset" your whole computer. If you reformatted your drives, you will have to enter your registration information on pretty much everything again. Mark PS I should have said ACTIVATE ...

Re: Flying Tips Come Back After Exiting
Actually yes I am still having the issue. I do not use any helper programs that launch P3D for me. No matter how many times I turn it off it comes back on. I really am at a loss as to whats happening. P3D V4 Active Sky Aerosoft Airbus Pro PMDG 737 Maddog Orbx global and vector Fs2Crew for some aircr...

Flying Tips Come Back After Exiting
I know this is a petty thing but it is driving me nuts. I disable Flying Tips in the Information area and fly around. I then close the app normally and when I open it again, Flying Tips are checked and active. I searched the cfg file and could only locate the cockpit tips entry. Any insight apprecia...
