Delete the Prepar3D.cfg in you AppData \Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D" folder. I bet a lot in you Appdata got retained despite your re installation of the sim. Once you've deleted that Restart P3D and it will create a new one. good Luck!

Maybe ask someone that has it in the Rex forum would be nice. For instance, simply turn off EF HDR in the mini menu will give you you default HDR lighting control in P3D. man, People were complaining for years P3D night vision was too light. Geez. Rex works perfectly for me.

go into you user/ AppData/ LockheadMartin/P3D folder and rename the Prepar3D.cfg file to Prepar3D.old. and save. Now restart Prepar3D and it will make a new cfg for you. You will have to tweak your setting again once you're in.

Everything else seems to work in Version 4.4, but I'm having an issue with ai boats /ships and their wake not showing in the sim . how do I fix?

Remember to have the latest edition of Chaseplane too Version 1.0.16 . That was a issue that they fixed.
