Re: PBR: will many of us have issues?
Seriously ?!
I think I'll wait for P3D 5.0.
Don't think PBR is worth it to be honest.
Rather stick a hot poker in my left eyeball than reinstall P3D just for shiny stuff.....

Re: PBR: will many of us have issues?
So is there a consensus on this matter yet ?
In other words, is it necessary to install Client AND Content, in order to have PBR working fully and properly ?
Thanks

Full Screen, G Sync and 10 bit colour
Hi there. Read a post and saw this response: Postby Mike Jones » Mon May 02, 2016 9:29 pm Hello Peter, No we do not support Full Screen, and the only options related to fullscreen that we do support are: FullScreenBackground - Blacks out monitors that are not being used. FullScreenAutoFill - Allows ...

Re: p3d v4.4 FPS
P3D is going same way as FSX went. More graphical niceties, without a concomitant increase in core rendering performance. Expect framerate performance to gradually get worse as time goes on. PBR, massive photoscenery resolutions, increase distance for scenery draw .... crikey Moses.... what do you e...

Re: P3D Instability
1. Please don't tell me you are defragging SSD or nVme drives ? 2. Get rid of those cfg tweaks. Not needed, and causes problems. 3. You need to set affinity in the cfg file. Concensus is that the first 3 proceses need their own thread, each on a different core. 10, 10, 10, 1,1 1,0. You will need to ...

[RESOLVED] Locked Posts - why ?
Would someone please explain why this post was locked...... seems quite a reasonable technical questions, and there were no answers.

Re: Unable to Delete Joystick Buttons!
Change them in the sim, delete etc., and immediately make the controls ini file "Read only".
It is an awfull bug that is in FSX. Clearly not fixed. Unbelievable.

Re: I-6700k vs either 8700k or i-9 79XX
The 8700 has to better potentially if you get the best affinity mask. But, it is VERY hot. A video on Youtube running P3D v4 with the 8700k at stock settings.... 1st core at 4.7, the others getting successively lower, had his temp reaching 93 degrees. It will be dead by Easter ! Ridiculous. So you w...
